For over 20 years, Titanic Jazz Band has been one of the top traditional jazz bands in the U.S.! Organized in 1993, the band has performed at nearly every festival, concert series and jazz club on the West Coast. Interestingly, both the personnel and the repertoire of the Titanic Jazz Band have remained stable throughout most of the group's existence — a remarkable tribute to the dedication of Titanic's musicians. Cornetist Dan Comins leads the band, which also includes Keith Elliott, trombone; Mike Baird, reeds; Robbie Rhodes, piano; Vince Saunders, banjo; Ray Cadd, tuba; and Larry Wright, drums. Come to the Mississippi Room on Sept. 17 for a “Trad” experience you are sure to enjoy.
